Executive Chef Perry Bateman Prefers Kuleana® Culinary Oils

In June 2023, KHON2 Empowered Hawaiʻi featured our locally grown culinary oils. In the episode titled "Food for Thought," our companyʻs founders Bob and Kelly King are interviewed at their Maui Sunflower Farm. The Kings, also the pioneering founders of Maui-based Pacific Biodiesel, talk about the companyʻs sustainable agriculture and clean energy model that supports energy security and food security in Hawaiʻi.

Longtime restaurant customer Mama's Fish House is also featured – Executive Chef Perry Bateman talks about the importance of supporting local farmers and his preference for local products, including our premium Sunflower Oil and Macadamia Oil.
